Position OverviewAITC is looking for an experienced Electronic Tech Maintenance III professional to support the LUH-72a Synthetic Flight Training System (SFTS) for the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP) at various CONUS locations.
Responsibilities / DutiesDevelop and maintain positive customer relationships to support device utilization to meet training requirements for local and remote device training schedulingMonitor regularly posted training schedule and updates ensuring device readiness according to contractual requirementsPlan, schedule, coordinate and perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual PMCS tasks IAW technical guidelinesTroubleshoot and isolate mechanical, electronic, network and systems faultsSupport hardware and software upgradesSchedule vendor services for repair and annual trailer requirementsResearch and submit requisition for repair parts, materials and consumable supplies to perform PMCS and Corrective repairsEnters and review work order data utilizing the on-line management information system (MIS)Apply basic and advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers'/engineering drawings and specifications required to accomplish maintenance tasks and modification manuals or similar documentsConduct quality assurance inspections/audits on devices and of MIS dataSupervise, train, mentor and inspect work of Electronic Technicians level I and IIInventory control IAW contractual requirements
Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree or industry standard certifications in computer science, engineering, business administration or related field preferredExperience maintaining flight training devices and electronics preferredMinimum 5 years' work experience with computer, networks and electronics testing/troubleshootingWorking knowledge of Cisco, Microsoft and Linux OS experience requiredValid driver's license and On-Post driving privileges requiredMust be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required IAW appropriate OSHA standardsWork independently and as part of a teamMust be willing to travel to locations of up to 1000 miles by plane or rental vehicleTravel may include 1-3 weeks (weekends Included) up-to 10 times a year

Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading.Must be able to lift 20-30 lbs. overhead, climb 6-10 ft. ladders (with appropriate safety gear)
