SSSD has an opening for an Electronic Technician 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located either in Redondo Beach, California or Merrit Island, Florida.
Candidates must be able to travel for more than 70% or relocate (Merritt Island Florida)
Electrical Technician will support Integration and Test flow at the Airbus OneWeb Satellite facility in Merritt Island Florida. Daily assignments will come from lead test conductor and/or test operations manager. Individual must be able to work under moderate to minimal direction to determine and develop approaches to solutions; must be able to work both in a team environment and independently; must be self-motivated, thorough, and detailed; and must be willing to learn additional engineering discipline areas.
Responsibilities include:
• Support test plans, test schedules and test procedures for all phases of testing.
• Support test planning working groups, plan and conduct test readiness reviews, pre and post test briefings. Interface with test engineering disciplines to develop tests and test data requirements.
• Verify test article configurations and coordinate the integration of test modifications with Test Conductors and other subsystem test engineering groups.
• Makes real-time personnel decisions regarding personal safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Participate in post-test data evaluation and problem identification and resolution.
• Proficient in electrical test equipment, such as but not limited to, DMM/DVM, Oscilloscope, MilliOhm Meters, Breakout Boxes, Power Supplies, etc...
• Requires ability to support 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as required. Shift rotations likely.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
