Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for the maintenance of the existing SCADA system, implementation of a new SCADA system, and will handle general electrical maintenance primarily near Bloomsburg and Dallas Operations of Pennsylvania. Job focuses on completing necessary capital expenditure in all of the operating areas of PA to update the existing SCADA network. Performs electrical work to maintain, install, repair or alter electrical systems found in treatment and pumping facilities, including electrical construction, installation, maintenance, and repair. Will work alongside local operations teams, and also consultants and contractors. Job will be positioned primarily in Bloomsburg or Dallas, Pennsylvania, with potential for travel to the Harrisburg area. Job will require after hours and emergency Operations support.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance of existing SCADA Hardware and Software.Work with Corporate to implement new SCADA Standards.Assist Operations by completing the necessary electrical work, including but not limited to up to 480V, control wiring, drive programming, and communication monitoring.Necessary to understand appropriate codes and work must conform to all safety standards.Work Environment:
Ability to do medium-duty field work such as general mechanical installs and repairs.Varied indoor and outdoor work with necessity to respond and work in inclement weather and after hours.Limited Travel. Daily trips required between Operations. Potential conference travel 1 to 2 times per year.Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
High School Diploma.Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or +5 years field experience (minimum).Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Hands on experience: Process Logic Controllers (PLC), Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) and Human-Machine-Interface (HMI).Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls.Communication systems, including radio, cellular, and TCP/IP networking.Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, equipment, and procedures used in the installation, maintenance, repair, replacement, troubleshooting, and alteration of electrical equipment; components and parts used in modern electrical wiring systems such as pumps, motors, controls and lighting.Basic understanding of blueprints, overhead line construction, National Electric Code and Federal and State OSHA standards.Written, Oral, and Interpersonal Communication skills.Available 24/7 for emergency support.The ability to solve operational problems.Ability to self-direct priorities and work schedules.Ability to collaborate with other departments and motivate teammates.Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
Valid State Drivers License.Physical Require ents:
