NOTE - Pay Rate for this job is $25 - $30 / Hour
Responsibilities:
Hours: Monday - Friday 40+ hours Lead and supervise a team of electricians, ensuring they are working efficiently, adhering to safety protocols, and delivering high-quality workmanship.
Provide guidance, training, and support to crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Plan, organize, and schedule work assignments for the underground crew, ensuring timely completion of projects.
Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
Monitor project progress, address any issues, and implement necessary adjustments to stay on schedule.
Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, ensuring all crew members follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safety-conscious work culture.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground electrical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct inspections to verify work quality and adherence to project specifications.
Manage and allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity and minimize downtime. Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of work activities, including project progress, material usage, and labor hours.
Prepare regular reports for project managers and senior management, summarizing project status, challenges, and achievements.
Identify and resolve issues that may arise during project execution, such as technical challenges, resource constraints, or schedule conflicts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Be at least 18+ years of age Current/Active
Certification or a willingness to obtain it
Minimum of 5 years of experience in underground electrical construction, with a strong background in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, demonstrating excellent organizational and managerial skills.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience in the commercial field required
