Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national presence with current projects above $1B, spanning coast to coast, and some internationally.
This position is primarily responsible for monitoring and supervising the joint-venture (JV)/sub-contractors' fabrication, construction, maintenance, and repair performances in the area of electrical quality control, including evaluation of materials and procedures in accordance with applicable project specifications, RFP and contract documents. This is all to be done in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
QC Specialists shall be an individual with a minimum of 10 years combined experience in their respective discipline for which their duties will encompass, in the following positions: Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager on similar size and type construction contracts which included the major trades that are part of this Contract. The individual shall be familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1, and have experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.
Needed:
A BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field is the minimum formal education required for this position. However, a combination of equivalent work experience (minimum of 10 years combined experience in respective electrical discipline) and training in the field may be qualifying.• Ten or more years as a Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager for an electrical subcontractor or contractor required on similar size and type construction contracts.• Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs highly desired.• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.) required.• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications required. Training can be provided.• Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management Certificate required. Training can be provided.• Army Corps of Engineers EM385‐1‐1 40 Hour Safety preferred.
