  The Boeing Test & Evaluation organization is hiring an Electrical Engineer (Cabin and Network Systems) to work in the Cabin and Network Systems group in Seattle, WA .

  Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Level Electrical Engineers.

  Position Responsibilities:

  Electrical/Mechanical design engineer supporting development of new laboratory test systems

  Design and build accommodations for Airplane H/W (LRUs) to be tested in a laboratory environment

  Primary emphasis will be on electrical accommodations though mechanical experience would be very helpful

  Develop design from engineering test requirements and test plans

  Research test system design requirements and data using aircraft LRU drawings, system schematics and interface control

  documents

  Develop detail designs in Catia

  Coordinate all activities required for parts purchasing and end item fabrication

  Install, integrate, and checkout test systems into lab environment

  Support ongoing test activities and changes to test capability as necessary

  Produce design documentation in drawing form

  This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

  The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

  2+ years of experience with electrical design

  Experience using design CAD tools

  Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience ​

  Systems test experience

  Experience working with test system design

  Experience in mechanical packaging experience

  Experience with Drafting Standards

  Experience with airplane system avionics, ICD data, and airplane schematics

  Typical Education/Experience:

  Associate (Level 2)

  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

  Experienced (Level 3)

  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

  Relocation:

  This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

  Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  Summary pay range for Associate: $85,850 - $116,150

  Summary pay range for Experienced: $104,550 - $141,450

  Export Control Requirements: U.S. Government Export Control Status: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.

  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
