Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking to add several Fire Alarm Designers to its growing team in the Omaha, Nebraska area! The Fire Alarm Designer will be part of acollaborative team of designers that prepare submittal and field installation drawings, and submittal data for fire protection systems based on the requirements set by NFPA code standards, the International Building Code (IBC), and the Local Authority or fire marshal. These individuals will be expected to become proficient at designing fire alarm systems, and detailing shop drawings including field installation drawings electrical layouts. They will also oversee jobsite support field installation support. They will manage project scheduling and are expected to keep projects on schedule.

Skills and Requirements
Electrical drafting, engineering or design experience doing electrical layouts
Experience with a CAD software
o AutoCAD
o SolidWorks
o Creo (2D or 3D experience)
o Revit
Strong soft skills passion for engineering Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, CAD, Drafting or Design, or related.
NICET certification
Prior fire alarm design experience null
