Colorado Engineering DBA as CAES. The CAES Advanced Program Development(APD) line of business is seeking highly motivated Electrical DesignEngineer for new product development and product improvement projects as partof a multi-disciplinary team. This includes design, analysis, and allaspects of project engineering work. Electrical Design Engineers must be ableto accept guidance from Senior Engineers. CAES offers weekly onsite trainingin addition to educational assistance.Responsibilities
Core Competencies:Positive, self-motivated, and ability to work within a team of engineers.Willingness to learn all phases of product development from inception throughproduction (architecture, design, programming, debug, test, anddocumentation).Knowledge of at least one - and a desire to learn several - of the followingareas: hardware, software, FPGA design, Digital Signal Processing(DSP), and other areas of electrical engineering.Qualifications
Minimum:Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering.Minimum 2 years' experience in Engineering in high-tech R&D and/ormanufacturing companies.Work experience in electronic product design and development.Experience in electronic product design (PCB, layout, software,firmware (VHDL).Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes/meters/logic analyzer).This position requires access to technology, materials, software orhardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible forthis position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (oreligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license). A US personis defined as a lawful permanent resident, refugee or asylee.Preferred:Willingness to take a design from concept to production.Knowledge of high-speed digital and or analog design.Use of Altium tool set.Systems Engineering and/or RF experience is a plus.Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
EMPLOYMENT TRANSPARENCYSalary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually. Employees may be eligiblefor a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Applicable pay within theposted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to,geographical location, job function of the position, education, andexperience of the successful candidate.
