In this role, you will be responsible for the definition and execution of LabCorp’s EMEA EHS strategy that aligns with our mission of Improving Health and Improving lives, whilst managing a remote team of EHS professionals.
Please note, this role will require some travel across UK and Europe .
As an EHS Director at LabCorp you will:
Manage a team of EHS Managers across the UK and Europe, creating and executing staff development plans that inspire individuals to reach current and future personal and professional goals for themselves and the team.
Oversee EHS operations for European and UK locations
Work closely with regional senior leadership as well as senior leaders of other regions to develop EHS programmes and strategies and provide technical support to leadership on EHS related subjects.
Develop and drive LabCorp’s environment, health, safety and sustainability culture, proactively identifying EHS-related risks and appropriate mitigations, and reporting performance
Have for responsibility for developing and monitoring annual EHS budget and resource plans
What we need from you:
Extensive working experience within the EHS industry.
Previous experience in leading and managing EHS teams
Previous experience of managing teams remotely is advantageous
Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Safety or other relevant discipline
NEBOSH certification is desirable
The ability to speak French and/or German would be desirable, but not essential
