Job Description
Coordinates and facilitates EEG Lab operations including technical duties, professional services, documentation, and equipment maintenance.
Job Responsibility
Coordinates and facilitates EEG Lab operations; implements staff coverage and maintains on-call schedule; instructs technicians and related clinicians in technical aspects of neurological testing; performs all functions of an EEG Technician, as required.
Reviews test reports and patient records for accuracy and completeness; prepares digital files for archiving.
Monitors operational processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality performance standards; recommends process improvements, as needed.
Implements quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives and reports activities to management.
Arranges equipment servicing in accordance with service contract provisions; evaluates and recommends equipment replacement, as required.
Compiles and analyzes laboratory performance statistics and reports findings management.
Schedules testing and coordinates patient transportation, as required.
Performs electroencephalograms (EEGs), twenty-four hour inpatient video EEGs, and outpatient EEGs.
Submits test result reports to Physician for interpretation and signature.

Job Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Current EEG Technician Certification, and Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
1-3 years of relevant experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $30.99-$38.41/hour
