Educational Professional – Employability skills cum soft skills trainer
Job responsibilities
The key objective of the role is to develop and deliver interactive workshops and training sessions on employability skills subject and take a reflective approach to current practice to professional skilling excellence.
Conduct individual coaching sessions to assess apprentice’ strengths and weaknesses, identify areas for improvement, and provide personalized guidance.
Bring industry & academy together to enhance academic achievement, learning culture and the overall student experience within Siemens Technical Academy.
Ensuring consistent provision for academic ambiance. Maintain the general discipline of the apprentices.
To keep up to date with relevant changes in skilling domain and to encourage a wide range of activities to learn the future technology with practical skill.
Organize Seminars / Conferences / Symposium /Workshop / training programs in topics of Reskilling and Upskilling the Future-ready Workforce for Industry 4.0 and beyond.
Be responsible and accountable for setting and advancing the academic strategy of the Department in line with local & global manufacturer’s plans and direction.
Monitor and evaluate all aspects of the work and to respond appropriately to emergent issues ensuring that apprentices are supported in their skilling journey.
To lead, manage and contribute to the day-to-day delivery of the soft skills programs offered in the Academy, including the management of admission to the programs, curriculum delivery, apprentices’ assessment.
To review academic delivery of existing soft skills programs, celebrating good practice, and identifying areas for development, and devise an inclusive strategy to drive improvement where necessary.
To take responsibility for the implementation, monitoring and review of the exiting & new academic initiative focused on soft skills & skilling related.
To lead on an apprentice’s support strategy to ensure early intervention for struggling apprentices to increase retention and academic achievement.
To work with the Leadership Team to look at the impact of non- engagement, attendance and pastoral issues on academic achievement, administration issues and agree action plans, and support the implementation and review of said plans.
To ideate, develop new business plans and execution for skilling related projects internally as well as externally.
Desired qualification & experience
NCVT in Learning & Development domain with minimum 10 years of Industry Experience.
Candidate with diploma/degree in Engineering & MBA with strong academic track record.
Candidate with experience in vocational education domain will be preferred.
Should have conducted several soft skills trainings along with trainer the trainer program.
Knowledge of apprenticeship & German apprenticeship model must.
Experience in conducting, organizing & evaluation of training must.
Should be familiar with Factory act, Lean manufacturing, TQM etc.
Knowledge of Safety practices is preferred.
