About Education Manager, Le Labo, Asia Pacific

  Position Summary:

  At the heart of what is unique to Le Labo is the experience in our boutiques and our corners, and our approach to service is as unique and alternative as our take on perfumery. As we continue to grow, we need to carefully ensure that all new and existing Le Labo Souls, in all areas of our business have a deep understanding of our creations, values and alternative mindset through our education programs and ways of operations.

  The Education and Operations Manager, Asia Pacific for Le Labo will be a critical supporting role for the department by managing our education programs and cascading them to our education team across Asia Pacific. This role is also critical for working with our affiliate teams to ensure that our Le Labo Souls have a deep and genuine alignment with the brand values, vibe and culture, speaks in the Le Labo brand voice, services customers in the brand way, and that our operations across Asia Pacific run smoothly.

  She/he/they will work closely with the global education team, the regional marketing team, and work across all functional groups and markets. This role is based in our Hong Kong Regional Office and reports to the Sales and Education Director, Asia Pacific.

  Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  EDUCATION

  Educate and inspire teams on our creations and craft, including what Le Labo is, what we do and how we do it via brand immersions, both internal and to markets. Including train-the-trainer sessions, office onboardings, market immersions, and broader team and internal group sessions. Support with the end-to-end management and organization bringing to fruition immersions, training sessions and other gatherings, both digitally and in person. Cascade of rich educational tools and content that don't over-explain or kill the art. Lead all NPL training content & Train-the-Trainer for the Quarterly Dispatch and Lab Tec Bulletin Support additional content development for brand and operations purposes, such as how-to guides, documentation, and additional educational materials if necessary. Support the brainstorm exercise for new Le Labo Training Initiatives, including the organization and follow up process. Ideate new and rich content ideas to support the learning goals of our souls, work to remain close to their needs through quarterly regional touch bases and information from key stakeholders. Ensure accurate and diverse representation of soul profiles within training content. Enhance existing and new training materials with best-in-class Learning & Development solutions. Manage annual content calendar for sharing with stakeholders. Own the organization and execution of quarterly regional calls, with concise meeting minutes and follow up plans. Manage evergreen training updates, deploy changes, updates across all training material to ensure they are up to date and current across all channels.

  OPERATIONS

  Ensure brick and mortar doors are compliant with brand's policies and processes, drive teams to achieve 100% compliancy Oversees the execution of new launches, display and visual merchandising, drive teams to maintain look & feel of boutiques and counters as per brand's guidance Provide feedback and challenge existing processes and policies to identify improvements and optimizations Collaborate with affiliate teams on the execution of inventory counts to ensure accurate track of inventory and reduce shrinkage rate Achieve consistency of in store/counter procedures across all locations in the region and ensure all brand policies and processes are understood and followed Collaborate with affiliate stakeholders to plan relevant stock to achieve target sales Act as a liaison between all departments in facilitating solutions to a various list of issues and questions regarding openings/stores Support our brand expansion to the latest and highest ELC standard and systems Provide installation and support for new store openings

  BRAND CHAMPION

  Represents the brand as a champion on occasions such as Soul events, Client events, and PR events if needed. Own the organization of cultural moments that maintain Le Labo's Manifesto at the core of our DNA

  Qualifications

  Skills & Requirements:

  5-7 years+ of Education & Retail Sales experience in cosmetic and beauty industry with proven records in field culture development expertise and driving the business through education and service experience. E-Learning experience is advantageous. Exudes passion for Le Labo and deeply appreciates, understands the Brand DNA, and fully embodies the brand in all their interactions. Strong English communication and good writing skills. Asian language proficiency from any of 4 (Cantonese/Mandarin/Japanese/Korean) is a plus Ability to engage audiences through storytelling, weaving brand values into all narratives. Exceptional in written communication and a sharp eye for proofreading. Familiar with Microsoft Office and other content management software. Excellent PowerPoint skills A motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team-player mindset; exemplify the challenger spirit with a can-do attitude. Demonstrates agility Ability to work in a dynamic, independent environment and manage multiple concurrent projects. Quick worker who enjoys a fast pace and embraces change. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal, international, and affiliate teams. Ability to work with ambiguity on occasions. Willingness to work on projects which on occasions fall out of job scope Willingness to travel internationally as and when required (30% travel)
