Roles and Responsibilities
Serve as Logistics & Sustainment Control Account Manager (CAM)Develop and manage a complex Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) which accounts for a wide variety of scope and deliverablesManage and oversee an approximate budget of $100M+ utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and techniquesTrack and report monthly cost and schedule performance indices (CPI, SPI); minimize Logistics & Sustainment control account varianceRepresent Logistics & Sustainment at Program Control Board (PCB) to identify changes in scope and funding impactsPerform Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) and forecast resource requirements with appropriate teams to ensure on-time performance of scope and deliverablesPrepare monthly program status reports which summarizes work scope accomplished, financial expenditures and schedule critical pathManage contractual deliverables including tracking, reviewing, packaging and reporting status to internal and external customersOrganize and lead both internal and external reoccurring meetings which provide management and leadership updates on Logistics & Sustainment metricsWork cross functionally within Logistics & Sustainment and Edison Works Engineering disciplines such as maintainability, reliability, supportability and safety engineeringPerform operations management to identify and mitigate programmatic issues pertaining to security, resources, information technology, and facilitiesAdvise and provide recommendations to the Logistics & Sustainment Program Manager related to the balanced management of scope and deliverables
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or high school diploma/GED with 10 years' related/relevant experience)Minimum of 5 years' experience in product managementDemonstrated knowledge and experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)Demonstrated knowledge and experience using Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) software tools such as Microsoft Project and Deltek Open PlanStrong understanding of U.S. military operations and sustainment. Specific experience in one or all the following areas: Finance, Contracting, Acquisition, and LogisticsExperience performing project or program management functionsMust have (or obtain and maintain) a U.S. Government Secret ClearanceAbility to work full time on-site at GE Aerospace headquarters in Cincinnati, OH; due to security requirements there are limited work from home or remote opportunitiesThis role is restricted to U.S. Citizens
Desired Characteristics
Master's degree from an accredited college or universityDirect experience working with, or for the U.S. military in the maintenance, operation, or sustainment of aircraft or propulsion systemsFamiliarity with turbine engine operation and demonstrated knowledge of logistics and sustainment processes for military turbine enginesExperience authoring technical and cost responses to government Requests for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposals (RFPs)Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers Active U.S. Government Secret or Top-Secret Clearance
