General Summary:
The eDiscovery team coordinates with the Legal team on their Litigation and Investigations matters to facilitate the eDiscovery process and provide consultation on eDiscovery technology and best practices.
Job Description:
The Project Manager would be the primary point of contact for the Legal team and is responsible for managing the eDiscovery activities with the external vendors and outside counsels for Litigation and Investigations matters. The Project Manager would ensure the project is meeting the goals of the matter and that Citi is compliant with our legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include:
Liaise with all parties, both internal and external, to assist with the collection, processing, review, and production of electronic data
Training and advising Legal teams on eDiscovery industry “best practices” and the most efficient use of eDiscovery technologies and services available to meet the matter needs
Submit RFP’s (Request for Proposal) for new projects with our processing and review vendors
Constant oversight and tracking of all assigned matters, from start to finish, for compliance with Citi eDiscovery Billing Guidelines and Vendor Management
Ability to prioritize and manage expectations and effectively communicate Citi’s guidelines
Provide cost estimates and advise on maximizing efficiencies and cost reductions
Identify internal process improvement and standardizations
Communicate and escalate issues appropriately
Review and resolve invoice issues
Maintain detailed matter notes, documentation, and weekly updates
Available to work off hours when necessary (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in supporting eDiscovery matters and applying eDiscovery industry “best practices”
Understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)
Knowledge of eDiscovery review platforms and associated technologies (i.e., Relativity)
Knowledge of different sources of data (i.e., emails, chats, Bloomberg, etc.)
Strong project and time management skills, with an ability to prioritize, solve problems, support multiple concurrent projects, and meet deadlines
Highly organized and detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Education:
Bachelors/University degree requiredPlease do not apply if you do not have any eDiscovery experience at a law firm or eDiscovery vendor.
