Join our team as “EDA Tool Research and Development Engineer (C,C++, Machine Learning)” and work from our office in Poland or Germany.
We are looking for a highly motivated and capable EDA Tool Research and Development Engineer to join the R&D team developing Design-for-Test (DFT) tools as part of the industry-leading Tessent product line. These advanced tools are vital to silicon validation of integrated circuits and used by the world’s leading semiconductor companies.
You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation
Development will be done in C++ on a Linux platform. The candidate must be able to design and implement high-quality, very efficient, and maintainable software solutions to complex problems. Additionally, the candidate is expected to be a fast learner and self-starter, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively within a distributed team.

High productivity, fast learning, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to architect and implement high-quality and maintainable software are key. Equally crucial for success are strong teamwork and communication skills, self-drive, and a positive can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
Work with team members to expand and maintain daily regression test suite.
Implement new functionalities in the area of yield diagnostics and yield analysis.
Cooperate with Field and Product Engineering groups to gather functionality specification and customer facing communication.
Ideal candidates would possess the following qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors (or higher) in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering, or other related field.
C++ programming experience.
Understanding of software architecture best practices and object-oriented programming.
Excellent and creative problem-solving skills, including skills with algorithms and data structures.
At least basic knowledge of digital logic design.
Attention to details and high-quality work.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred:
Background in DFT is a strong plus.
Hardware description languages: Verilog, SystemVerilog.
Experience with software development on Linux, and development tools such as Git.
Knowledge of machine learning methodologies.
