This role will have a dual focus as having strategic oversite across International and other enterprise transformation initiatives. They will serve as the primary HRBP for the International groups in enabling the teams to tackle organizational challenges, building strong talent planning, and providing strategic counseling and consultative partnership to leaders. This role will be accountable, and in partnership with other business and HR leaders, the development and execution of people strategies and alignment with the ELC Global HR vision and should infuse business-driven perspective into broader people strategies and Centers of Excellence. Additionally, this role will continue to serve as a strategic advisor and assist in streamlining multiple touchpoints for the SVP, Global Human Resources, Transformation Enablement & Regions across International groups to maximize his/her effectiveness, and to optimize his/her time to focus on key enterprise-wide projects, programs, and priorities.
Responsibilities:
Provide subject matter expertise, advice, and guidance, from a global perspective, on employees and HR needs to business leaders, in strong partnership with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) Partner/Lead talent to include but not limited to, acquisition, succession, development, learning, and global mobility activities required by business strategy in conjunction with HR COEs and policies Define and implement HR strategy based upon the enterprise priorities and Global HR strategies; use analytic insights, HR demographics, trend analysis, engagement tools, and deep understanding of the business to craft and deliver the strategy. Ensure international talent strategies to attract, develop and retain the best talent; ensure succession plans for key roles and new capabilities built. Build relationships and identify key internal and external talent to engage the bench for key leadership roles. Proactively ensure the development and delivery of a global total rewards strategy.
Enhance org design and org effectiveness for the future, deploying continuous improvement, including process improvement to increase productivity facilitated by a robust change management process. Partnering closely with the data and analytics team to ensure we are establishing key KPI and tracking mechanisms to evaluate overall effectiveness of ELC strategy. Liaison between the international and regional HR leads to provide co coordination's and prioritize that all proper stakeholders are properly informed and aligned on Initiatives. Current client groups will include, but not limited to, International Group President, Strategy and Global Chinese Consumer, Emerging Markets, International Online, Global retail and International Finance.
Qualifications
- Exposure to, and ability to navigate senior executives and their staff to advance department priorities
- Experience leading strategy and/or operations of a large team, including executing change management and transformation initiatives
- Clear communicator. Exceptional ability to articulate intricate concepts in a clear and succinct manner to breakdown a complex process.
- Problem solving skills are essential
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in interacting with all levels within an organization; ability to influence others and leverage their strengths. Proven ability to align parties and engage others by sharing convictions, integrating other points of view, making/facilitating comprises when necessary.
- Deep generalist and HR Business partner experience is critical for success, with exposure to all core functions within the discipline and with increasing scope
- Skilled in navigating highly complex organizations and the ability to work in changing environments, see through complexity, and strategically promote an inclusive/diverse workforce
- Excellent organization, presentation and writing skills
- Strong knowledge of the company's businesses, culture, and external environment
- Experience in large scale change management, process design, and project management
- Proven experience in a global environment with cultural sensitivity is ideal
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $149,500 to $257,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
