Overview
Our Mailchimp Ecosystems Operations team is looking for a creative problem solver with a bias for action, an ability to connect the dots between numerous sources of information, and a strong desire to drive tangible business impact.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading data-driven resource planning to optimize partner management, incentives, marketing and other investments towards the highest ROI, surfacing insights that drive strategic decisions, improving operational efficiencies, optimizing investment and explaining drivers of outcomes for Mailchimp’s partner ecosystem. Additionally, this role will play a key role in predicting future outcomes and untapped opportunities based on forecasted business performance, partner segmentations, market trends and partner roadmaps.
Reporting to the Head of Ecosystems Operations, your main stakeholders will be the leaders within our partner management teams. You’ll also work cross-functionally with, product data analytics, finance, marketing, legal, and others -- to support step-change growth in the value delivered through Mailchimp’s partnerships with technology platforms, agencies and service providers.

Functional
Highly self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage multiple projects with little day to day direction.
Experience segmenting prospective and/or existing clients or partners by value and characteristics to drive recommendations around resource planning.
Proven track record in leveraging data, developing insight-backed hypotheses and driving learning plans to build compelling business cases.
Experience developing strategy, measurement, or analysis for complex technology partnerships in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in analyzing data from a variety of different sources (quantitative and qualitative), presenting the data in a clear and concise manner, and developing actionable insights.
Experience in partnering with and presenting to executive and cross-functional leadership
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Technical
Advanced knowledge in SQL and experience working with cloud-based data warehouses (Google BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake)
Proven experience in stitching together disparate data sources and building data infrastructure, defining KPIs, and tracking business performance
Experience with business case modeling and market/opportunity sizing
Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Looker) and dashboard development for executive and partner-facing teams
Work/Education
7-10 years of relevant experience in delivering significant strategic impact across an organization
Prior work experience within a SaaS company or a partner or sales operations function is preferred.
Bachelor’s or Graduate degree (business, analytics, or mathematics a plus or equivalent work experience)

Driving Data-Driven Partner Operations
Develop partner segmentations and target lists for acquisition pipelines as well as targeting for key programs & initiatives
Lead data-driven resource planning to optimize partner management, incentives, marketing and other investments towards the highest ROI
Lead development of goal setting including performance milestones for key strategic partnerships
Delivering Strategic Insights & Recommendations
Craft narratives and recommendations from analyses, build presentations, and present findings to business stakeholders
Design experimentation initiatives, develop experiment tracking, analyze results and present recommendations
Using a combination of SQL, Excel/Sheets, and Tableau, analyze multiple kinds of data sets to provide a complete picture of user behavior
Drive Visibility & Decision Making
Lead the development, improvement, and automation of initiative reporting (e.g., Tableau & Looker dashboards, visualizations)
Facilitate insight generation from KPIs, highlighting and decomposing trends and drilling down to identify underlying drivers
Build relationships and provide analytical guidance to business stakeholders and leaders
