　　Classification: 12 months, Full-time (40 hours per week)

　　Pay: $16.09-20.54 per hour.

　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　This position serves as Home Visitor for an Early Head Start program working individually with up to twelve (12) families, including expectant mothers, to support the development of the family and their infants and toddlers. The Home Visitor will work collaboratively with a team of other home visitors to implement the Parents as Teachers curriculum for children 0 to 36 months and Partners for a Healthy Baby for Pregnant Women, or other curriculum as appropriate, to achieve outcomes for children and families of all backgrounds and abilities.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies/Social Services or related field and previous home visiting experience preferred.If an employee does not have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, he/she is required to obtain and sustain a Home Visiting CDA within one year of employment.Must be willing and able to obtain Basic First Aid and CPR Certification and maintain certification.Acceptable tuberculosis and drug screening results, a clear criminal records check and an initial health exam are required post job offer and prior to employment.Current and former Head Start employees, students, and parents will receive preference for employment vacancies for which they are qualified.
