It's an exciting time to be joining as we look to review our Early Careers Strategy and talent streams in the UK. We are looking for an Early Careers Development Specialist to support with the refresh and design of our current and future programmes.
Salary: £49,000 - £55,000
Role clearance type : You must be able to gain and maintain the relevant UK Government clearance in the line with the job role (SC)
Location: Cheltenham preference, will consider London/New Malden
About Your Opportunity:
The key purpose of this role is to work collaboratively with the Head of Talent and Business stakeholders to enhance the Early Careers strategy for NGUK to deliver our internal "grow your own" approach and diversity agenda.
The immediate focus of this role is to develop an understanding of the current Early Talent Schemes and requirements within NGUK to deliver enhanced programmes for all cohorts. This role requires strong relationship management skills to build an understanding of the business needs and keep internal stakeholders fully engaged in programmes, whilst remaining aligned with the growth and direction of the business. There is a need to establish and maintain strong links with external providers and professional institutions to ensure we have best practice in our programmes design and delivery.

Your Responsibilities: Work with the Head of Talent and key business stakeholders to develop and deliver the Early Careers (including bursary, internship, apprenticeship and graduate) strategy whilst ensuring alignment with Northrop Grumman's strategic priorities and growth plans.Own and execute early careers schemes, including design, delivery and review for each iteration of the scheme cycle and management of associated budgetsIdentify and work closely with appropriate internal stakeholders to ensure the development needs to be continuously satisfied by the talent schemesContinuously review of the Early Career programme framework and experiences to ensure the respective programme is engaging, immersive, meeting the business objectives and a positive experience for candidates.Work closely with the Resourcing team and the Early Careers Technical Lead to ensure continuous tasking of the talent scheme cohorts, in support of business requirements and career progressionMonitor Early Career members performance and support the Early Careers Talent review processAct as the main point of contact and champion for Early Careers and STEM, ensuring an exceptional experience. Your Experience: Proven experience designing and managing graduate and apprentice programmes in a large and successful business, preferably in a regulated environmentDemonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders in the business to ensure success of Early Career programmesStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyKnowledge of diversity and inclusion practices and a commitment to promoting diversity in the workplaceMust have experience in and working knowledge of talent schemes - such as Apprenticeships, Graduate programs and working in a budgetary environmentPassion for Early Careers Your Future Team:
