In this role, you will:Supervise a team of individuals who are responsible for executing activities associated with conducting due diligence reviews of bank customers transactionsOversee a moderate degree of complexity and risk to determine appropriateness of processes to ensure timely completion, quality and complianceOwn the client onboarding process and engage with clients, relationship team and third partiesMitigate risk through due diligence processIdentify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control developmentEnsure execution of due diligence programs, processes and control to identify, assess and mitigate riskManage communication and collaboration with business heads, Legal, Audit and regulators regarding risk management of business specific risk programsMake decisions and resolve issues to mitigate risk via a thorough due diligence process functional area and team to meet business objectivesInterpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibilityManage implementation of procedures, controls, analytics and trend analysis to ensure comprehensive research and background investigationsUtilize expertise in data collection and sourcingCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including senior managersLead a team to achieve objectivesManage allocation of people and financial resources for Due Diligence groupMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talentRequired Qualifications, US:
4+ years of Due Diligence experience, or equivalent (including risk management, client service, operations support, or business process management) demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of leadership experienceRequired Qualifications, International:4 + years of people management experience & 12+ years of overall work experience in operational risk management processes and/or compliance and / or audit and / or regulatory programs with KYC Duties.Strong in-depth working knowledge of BSA/AML programs including all aspects of KYC and / or other related risk and a university degree in Business or related disciplineProven ability to collaborate with all levels of management and functional groupsDemonstrated organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.Thorough understanding of CIP/CDD/EDD & Customer Name screening processAbility to be objective and capable of independent challenge.Strong analytical, presentation and critical reasoning skills.Ability to quickly gain understanding of internal controls of previously unfamiliar areas.Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to negotiate with numerous parties and reach agreeable solutions.Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePointBachelor's degree in business, finance or economics.Desired Qualifications:Knowledge and a broad background in Wholesale Banking. On-boarding KYC, Screening, Adverse news disposition and Financial Crimes Investigations experience strongly preferred.Experience in Operational risk management processes and/or compliance and / or audit and / or regulatory programs with KYC Duties.AML/Sanctions Credential, ACAMS, CFE or CRCM designation, would be added valueJob Expectations:We Value Diversity
