Overview
We are seeking a Junior Business Manager supporting the International Private Bank (IPB) Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM). As the Junior Business Manager, you will be an extension of the Business management team in New York which coordinates projects and deliverables from front/middle/back office, presenting an excellent opportunity to learn the IPB business. You will be responsible for data management of various systems and databases and other business management responsibilities and projects.

What You'll Do
Coordinate Trust Investment Committee (TIC) and Investment Advisory Committee (IAC) activities including meeting scheduling and minutes handling, preparation and distribution of account reviews, holdings variance commentary and remediation, recording follow-up items and completion tracking including escalation of past due outstanding items to Senior Management
Update account review information on accounting system (Global+). Track and Monitor assets reviewed during Special Asset Committee (SAC) - notify Trust Officers of material that is scheduled for review. Prepare material for the Collective Investment Funds (CIFs) and coordinate meetings with portfolio managers. Prepare and update business key operating procedures (KOP). Partner with compliance to ensure KOP meet new compliance control framework initiative. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of initiative on supervisory controls including regulatory requirements (OCC) and periodic internal audits
Organize Investment Review Committee session including compiling and updating materials such as the correlation matrix, structured products offering inventory, alternative investment matrix and investment performance data; compose and submit minutes to Boards of Directors; prepare annual presentation
Order management system administration including preparing and distributing Compliance Risk Assessment Methodology (CRAM) reports and analyzing adequacy of responses and follow ups; perform administrator duties such as securities restriction set up
Daily account overdraft review and research with Portfolio Management to identify cause and remediate actions. Prepare and distribute "Annual Client Update Past Due" reports; Collaborate with DWS, Internal Finance, and DPM to provide estimates of monthly AUM for model portfolios CIF
Skills You'll Need
Bachelor's Degree (Finance or Business preferred)
Proficient work experience in Finance industry
Ability to quickly build strong relationships with stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, Technology, Compliance etc
Ability to work either independently or as an integral team member sharing ideas
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel (V-Lookup/Pivot Tables), PowerPoint
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Strong computer and data management skills
Good communication and presentation skills both oral and written
Ability to manage and prioritize numerous tasks simultaneously
Ability to review information and make timely but good decisions
Demonstrate confidence, drive, and enthusiasm
