  Document Support Specialist

  Position Description

  CGI Federal is seeking a The Document Support Specialist to provide support to the GSS team at the CGI Federal office by performing various clerical and repetitive manual functions with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  Your future duties and responsibilities

  The Document Support Specialist will perform duties such as:

  • Courier packages acceptance and routing.

  • Basic review of application packages for completeness against checklist.

  • Sort packages by "complete" and "incomplete"

  • Create and affix barcodes to the "complete" applications.

  • Data entry, look-up files

  • Perform Quality Control in verifying that application data matches barcode labels.

  • Packing, Sorting, Mailing

  • Drive to client location in Washington, DC, twice a week, using office vehicle.

  Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High School diploma (or) 2 years of experience as a Support Associate Level I or II (or) 2 years of experience performing customer service support functions, and

  • Quality Control experience in verifying that application data matches data on applicant portal or similar QC experience, and

  • Four (4) years of general office experience, including.

  oInternational Passport experience (preferred).

  oThree (3) years of experience utilizing a variety of office software, specifically:

  MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Outlook.

  Requirement to be successful in this role:

  • Must meet all qualification requirements of the Support Associate Level I.

  • Ability to effectively and politely interface with client and others.

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and data entry skills.

  • Must be able to work independently.

  • Ability to comprehend and communicate clearly.

  • Ability to learn and recall information about the process.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Must report to the office daily. (This is not a remote position)

  Hourly Rate: $21.47/hour

  CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
