Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Document Control Technician located in Austin, TX.
Reporting on-site to the QMS Document Control Engineer the Document Control Technician's role is responsible for supporting the Quality Management System (QMS) Document Control Engineer managing the logging, reproducing, distributing, storing, retrieving, and updating of electronic and hardcopy versions of documents such as Procedures, Work Instructions, Forms.
What a typical day looks like: Assists in the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and all associated documents.Ensures documents are properly reviewed, updated, approved, and released to remain in control.May support QMS Management Reviews, recording minutes and tracking actions.Supports Compliance (ISO) and Regulatory (FDA) audits.Ensure that document release packages are accurate, complete, and current and that all documents are maintained and controlled.Supports issuing control numbers for newly created documents and tracking the history, revision levels and status through the life of the documents.Assists in developing new processes to support document and configuration control requirements.Perform general administrative activities, such as answering emails, attending zoom calls, and providing QMS system users with guidance in using the system.The experience we're looking to add to our team:Must be proficient in MS Office products - Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel (intermediate skill level or higher).Must have electronic filing experience and understanding of data management processes.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.ASQ certification as CQT, CQA, CQPA or CSSGB is desired What you'll receive for the great work you provide: Full range of medical benefits, dental, vision Life Insurance Matching 401K PTO Tuition Reimbursement Employee discounts at local retailers DM86
