If you are a highly talented Docketing Specialist interested in working closely with attorneys and staff teams to provide client support via expertise in calendaring/docketing, court rules, case research, legal procedures, court rules and risk management compliance issues related to calendaring and court functions, we want to hear from you!
This position is remote, candidates may be required on occasion to visit the local office when/if needed.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma
Two years’ prior docketing experience
Strong knowledge of federal, bankruptcy and state court rules and procedures
Excellent written and communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and thorough understanding or risk management issues related to docketing procedures
Strong knowledge of docketing and business software
General knowledge of various practice areas such as Litigation, Bankruptcy, etc., in order to assure calendaring needs are identified and met to comply with risk management needs
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to successfully manage stressful situations
Preferred Requirements:
Prior experience with a docketing electronic docketing system, such as CompuLaw
Two years’ prior docketing experience with a large law firm
What will your day look like?
As a Docketing Specialist, you will ensure that all docketing dates and deadlines are met for assigned attorneys, groups and/or offices. You will extract, calculate, enter and update due dates, case and docket information through review of court mail, departmental email and assignment from department supervisor, attorney or attorney liaison. You will monitor and apply court rules and calendaring protocols for courts across the country and prepares various reports to notify attorneys of upcoming deadlines and case status. You will keep current with best practices regarding docketing, calendaring, and recordkeeping as they related to risk management in the legal environment. You will also research, navigate, search and retrieve information on litigants, judges and case information from court-related databases to include Pacer, Bloomberg, Westlaw and court websites.

In accordance with California and Washington’s Pay Transparency Laws, pay range for this position, if hired to work in California or Washington, is $63,500 - $84.500. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience and overall qualifications.
