Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an DL Staffing Manager located in Bukit Minyak.
Reporting to Malaysia DL Staffing Lead , the DL Staffing Manager role involves managing the Direct Labor & Technician staffing function for all Penang sites.
What a typical day looks like: Map out hiring strategies with creative solutions and ensure mission completion.Manages and leads the recruitment process and the overall utilization of recruiters.Develop and implement recruiting plans and open requisitions.Distribution of job vacancies across the recruiting team.Implement recruitment innovations.Develop and administer employee referral programs.Ensure consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaign.Submit reports concerning hiring trends, turnover rates, candidate feedback, etc. to senior management, as appropriate.Manage, and lead the recruitment process and policies.Solve issues/escalations during the sourcing to onboarding process.Meet with internal clients on a regular basis to identify potential gaps and capture general feedback.Responsible for department budget, monitoring of SLA's and KPIsExplores the market best practices in recruitment and staffing and implements appropriate best practices in the organization.Monitors the labor legislation and implements required changes to keep the process compliant.Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of the function. The experience we're looking to add to our team:Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field with 10 years of professional management experience and HR related area in manufacturing industry. At least 3+ years of managerial experience.Experience in mass DL hiring and foreign worker hiring is preferable.Manufacturing exposure is highly desirable.Big picture thinking, ability to collaborate with colleagues in HR and in the business; effective communication & influencing skills & results orientation is a must.
