Your role

We are looking for a regional distribution coverage to:
• engage with Financial Advisors and their eligible clients on direct investments
• differentiate what UBS can provide to our most important Wealth Management clients
• maintain relationships with investors to understand their objectives, risk tolerance and expectations
• provide feedback to diligence team to be responsive to client preferences
• participate in prospect meetings to help drive new business to UBS
• create custom distribution plan for each investment opportunity

Your team
As part of the Direct Investments Group (DIG) within UBS Global Wealth Management, you will be covering Financial Advisors and their clients across either the East, Central or West regions in the United States. DIG provides access to unique investment opportunities for our sophisticated Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals and families across asset classes, including equity, real estate and fixed income, whether structured as a direct investment with the issuer or co-investment via a sponsor.
On a global basis, DIG works very closely with both internal and external partners to make these investments available to eligible investors. DIG leads all aspects of the dialogue between the companies / sponsors (in some cases, in partnership with UBS Investment Bank and/or UBS Asset Management) and the investors, in close coordination with Financial Advisors within Global Wealth Management.
Your expertise
• deep knowledge with private markets, direct investments and/or co-investments
• experience with sales coverage and/or distribution with sophisticated institutional investors
• understanding of various investment structures, including preferred equity, limited partnerships, special purpose vehicles, etc. and the investment risks and considerations for each
• ability to evaluate an underlying asset and related terms of an investment in that asset, including valuation, cash flows, fees, duration, liquidity options, exit plan, expected returns, etc.
• bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Series 7 and 66 will be required before commencing role
• methodical, concise and accurate work style, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze product risk and regulatory issues
• collaborative team member with analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
