　　Position Summary

　　Arcesium seeks an exceptional Distributed Systems Engineer to join our Technology team and help architect core components of our platform.

　　Responsibilities

　　- Build next generation technology used by some of the most sophisticated financial institutions in the world

　　- Design exciting new products for our offering with best of breed distributed systems technologies

　　- Lead high-visibility engineering efforts on some of our data intensive core components

　　Qualifications

　　- The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in computer science and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience as a software engineer at a top startup or technology firm

　　- Expertise in at least one of the following:

　　- Kafka, ZeroMQ, AWS SNS/SQS, or equivalent streaming technology

　　- Distributed cache/in memory data grids like Redis, Hazelcast, Ignite, or Memcached

　　- Distributed column store databases like Snowflake, Cassandra, or HBase

　　- Spark, Flink, Beam, or equivalent streaming data processing frameworks

　　- Fluency with Java (or any other JVM language), Go, Haskell, or C#

　　- Familiarity with relational databases like Postgres, MSSQL, or Sqlite

　　The expected annual base salary for this position is $190,000 - $240,000. Our compensation package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, cash and deferred sign-on bonuses, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, and 401k contribution matching.

　　The applicable annual base salary or hourly rate paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience and educational background.
