Dispensing and Labeling Specialist - 0QK3979912
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:The Dispensing and Labeling Specialist is responsible for printing all finished good labels in the Dispensing Department and managing all aspects that are required to perform that function. The role requires adherence to standardized procedures and GDP requirements. This position also supports daily operations within the dispensing department through direct labor of finished goods packaging Mon-Fri, 7am -- 3:30pm, 5 days a week with OT as needed.
Essential Functions:* Printing of finished good labels for all products per planning/production needs.* Communicating label status/priority with planners and supervisors as needed* Maintaining label printers per procedures and operating manuals.* Troubleshooting basic issues with label printing equipment and reporting issues to supervisors and Business Technology* Peer review department batch records and forms for GDP compliance.* Complete necessary paperwork required (batch tickets, batch records, accountability forms, maintenance forms etc.) in a compliant fashion per company standards.* Document all training as required to perform functions of duties to file to QA.* Facilitate execution of the packaging schedule with the guidance of the department supervisor.* Execute packaging operations with dispensing staff as needed.* Assist supervisor in department 5s and safety activities by completing and participating in monthly safety walkthroughs and 5s audits.* Collaborate with cross functional teams and communicate in a professional and succinct manner.
QualificationsEducation Required: High School Diploma/GED
Computer Skills Required:SAP/ERP experience preferred, PrintStation software experience preferred, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint required
Other qualifications:2 years' experience in quality assurance review of finished good packaging (bottling, capping, boxing, labeling) required. Experience working in an ISO 13485 or CFR 210/211 environment required.
