JOB DUTIESGuest service- Provide exceptional guest service- Answer guest calls and create, update, or cancel their reservations asneeded- Proactively communicate with guests using text, email, and phone- Address guest service issues or potential guest service issues wherepossible by coordinating with other dispatchers, drivers, and managers- Escalate upset guests to management and/ or the sales team to ensureeffective and timely resolutionDispatch admin- Monitor dispatch inbox - review blasts, new reservations, and emails,reply as needed- Maintain records as directed by the operations management team, includingthe dispatch record and daily blasts- Update Slack with real-time operations information and guest service issues- Audit drivers speeds and escalate to ops managers as needed- Audit driver routes and flag any deviation to ops managers- Set up driver equipment for the following day, ensuring phones and wifipucks are charged and all other equipment prepped for the start of their shiftDispatch- Handle same-day guest additions including updating routes- Monitor drivers on the road and progress on pickups and dropoffs; cleardrivers to the airport or mountains when they have all guests boarded- Maintain contact with guests when drivers are delayed- Update drivers as needed on current road conditions including recommendingalternate routes- Assist with driver questions, needs, and issues both in person and viaphone or radio - ensure drivers have the resources they need to successfullycomplete their trips- Assist Tier 2 dispatchers with daily logistics, planning, andtroubleshooting- Inspect vehicles pre- and post-trip - ensure drivers are held accountable tothe condition of their vehicle- Assist with auditing routing, vehicle assignments and transfers asdirected by Tier 2 dispatch and managementTechnology- Learn and update all systems as directed by ops management- Maintain knowledge of all relevant tech platforms and how to best use themto serve the dispatch team, drivers, and our guests- Ensure Hudson is updated in real time to reflect operations- Ensure Samsara accurately reflects the correct driver with completed DVIRs- Ensure vehicles are accurately displayed as in-service/ OOS across systems- Use Slack, MS 365, blasts, phones, radios, Podium, Hudson andany other communications tools as directed by ops management- Assist drivers with their tech as needed, including but not limited to:Google Maps, Zello, vMDT, Samsara, and wifi pu ksOther- Follow all Peak 1 Express policies and procedures- Maintain a clean workspace and contribute to the cleanliness and comfort ofthe office (open/ close the office as needed, make coffee, put away dishes)- Other tasks as directed
REQUIREMENTS- Have exceptional time management skills- Comfortable working with various forms of technology (phone, tablet,GPS, etc.)- Exceptional guest service and customer relation skills- Pass criminal background check- Maintain a clean-cut professional appearance- Must be able to work holidays and weekends
