  WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

  As a People Solutions Consultant, you're a team player with the ability to maintain collaborative working relationships and be a positive influence. You possess strong communication skills, able to actively listen and seek information.

  You will not only manage the highly complex and high-volume day-to-day operations and coaching of the human resource office of Nike but also support and/or lead local and global HR projects and programs.

  WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON ?

  On any given day, you will be flexible to perform onsite HR transactional , operational as well as advisory/coaching tasks . You will assist on all preboarding, onboarding, exit as well as coaching and performance management related activities to ensure they are carried out in accordance with Nike global process and local statutory requirements.

  You will also handle sensitive and/or confidential employee information and ensure advice provided to employees complies to company policie s, procedures , statutory laws / regulations and partner closely with cross-functional HR operational teams such as B enefits, C ompensation, D ata M anagement and C ompliance to drive process improvements as appropriate. You will also help provide translations as necessary and administer /lead Employee Relations or Performance Coaching related tasks and keep the policies and procedures updated. You will p rovide direction and oversight for employee related matters like time-off, medical leave, formal and informal employee complaints, investigation of harassment and discrimination claims, termination of employees, etc.

  WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH ?

  This role will be based in Tokyo , Japan and will be a member of the Asia Pacific People Solutions team reporting to the Manager, People Solution s Consulting in Japan. You will partner with our Nike Japan Human Resources ( HR ) team and other business team to provide support delivering our strategy of our Consumer Direct Acceleration goals.

  WHAT YOU BRING

  ・ Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree required

  ・ At least 5 to 7 year s of relevant work experience in Human Resources or H uman R esources Shared Services environment ; in a multinational or outsourcing or shared service environment is preferred

  ・ P roficient in English and N ative level Japanese in both spoken and writing communication.

  ・ Team player, customer service-oriented, effective communication skills and able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment

  ・ Resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet set goals and objectives

  ・ Analytical, meticulous, and able to perform independently

  ・ Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office ( i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Working knowledge of Human Resource Information System (e.g. SAP, Workday) or ticket management system (e.g. ServiceNow) would be an advantage
