  What you will be doing

  Provides senior leadership on multiple client accounts or practice areas Responsible for strategic management of certain accounts or clients

  Creates innovative business expansion and / or new services

  Responsible for lead proposal writing, contracting, client presentations, and pricing

  Supports goals for business unit / service line growth

  Recruit, train and mentor junior staff

  Supports the development of succession plans for junior team members Ensures timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of all services

  Contribute to development of proposals and concept papers that clearly convey the excellence of Herescon's services with accurate budgets

  Design and implement health outcomes and

  / or economic studies - from study concept stage to final report, including market access studies, dossiers, patient-reported outcomes studies, prospective or retrospective observational epidemiologic or health resource utilization studies and database analyses

  Develop and / or review study reports, scientific publications, abstracts, and posters

  Demonstrate commitment to the firm and inspire / mentor fellow employees Maintain chargeability requirements by providing project input/guidance Consistently meet the goals of both the ABC Core Competencies, including:

  Leading client focusDriving business resultsDelivering quality productsDriving quality improvementModeling leadership

  What your background should look like

  EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  A postgraduate degree (e.g., Ph.D., M.D.) in a relevant discipline preferred. Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. in Health Economics, Pharmacy Administration, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Clinical Epidemiology, Public Health Policy) as the minimum educational requirement with at least 8 years of practical experience.

  Vice President, Scientific

  MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  Structured and well organized Excellent writing skills as well as the ability to communicate complex material in presentations and discussions in a straightforward manner Ability to work well in a dynamic, successful consulting firm, which maintains high quality standards and demands excellence Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong work ethic Functions as a team player Database management and analytical and statistical skills preferred Economic modeling skills preferred Medical writing skills preferred Experience developing outcomes research/health economics study protocols preferred Strong clinical skills preferred Broad technical knowledge of outcomes research and health economics preferred
