American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Directors, Business Planning and Growth Strategy to lead financial analysis and forecasting to develop growth strategies aimed at maximizing organizational value. Conduct strategic and financial analysis using internal and external information to identify and prioritize short-term and long-term financial and business development opportunities. Develop business unit financial and growth strategies, and present and make recommendations. Review and improve business development processes to facilitate business financial performance. Manage transaction and contract negotiation processes, including building relationships and monitoring achievement of transaction milestones. Support core finance initiatives with business and finance partners to identify, drive, and track large-scale, cross-functional revenue driver and customer engagement initiatives.
Position requires a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, and 3 years of experience with financial analysis and modeling across sectors with a focus on retail. Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience with financial analysis and modeling, including valuation, methods, forecasting and sensitivity analysis, using Cash flow, DCF, Multiples Analysis, and SOTP; 3 years of experience with analyzing business requirements and industry trends, synthesizing implications, and presenting results to senior leadership and business unit partners; 3 years of experience with translating complex finance concepts into actionable insights for presentation to business leaders for decision-making; 3 years of experience with coordinating with stakeholders and teams to identify business needs and growth opportunities; 3 years of experience with tracking and interpreting macroeconomic, industry, and competitor activities; 2 years of experience with contract and deal process management and negotiation; and 2 years of experience with Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ, Excel for reporting and modeling, V-lookups, INDEX and MATCH, and PowerPoint. Telecommuting is available up to 3 days per week.

Salary Range: $140,589.00 to $205,000.00 annually
