The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.

Description
Oversees the project management of the portfolio of real estate projects typically consisting of ~150 active projects ranging from small offices to new build projects. Develops all real estate project management standard work and ensures adherence by project management staff while fostering a culture of continuous improvement to drive cost and process efficiency. Accountable for real estate project portfolio meeting project budget, schedule and customer needs. Ensures the usage of project management discipline for all real estate projects including documentation, KPIs, reports.
Responsibilities
Execute on the strategy and analysis developed by Real Estate Services Strategy & Insights team, managing all real estate projects for Liberty Mutual from acquisition through delivery, ensuring projects meet business needs in terms of cost, function, and timing. Develop implement, and continue to improve upon a consistent project life cycle methodology delivering approved projects according to specs, budgets and schedule. Manage team of skilled project managers to coordinate and deliver projects of all complexity. Hire top talent and manage performance as needed. Manage team of project coordinators responsible for project analysis, financial schedules, and some project deliverables such as meeting agendas, presentation materials, meeting management. Responsible for developing business case for projects as needed and gaining approval from senior and executive leadership. Ensure effective project management process in place to deliver real estate solutions to business, including needs analysis, approval, acquisition, design and construction, and delivery. Integrate KPIs and reports collecting all appropriate project management data to ensure high performance and drive improvement. Provide thought leadership for Real Estate Delivery leadership team working to meet defined objectives and goals.
Qualifications Bachelor degree in project management or real estate related discipline and 12+ years of diverse experience with at least 8 years in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Requires ability to manage projects from conception to successful implementation Requires solid project management skills, ability to multitask and direct the management of multiple projects in a cross-functional environment Requires excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and team building skills, business judgment, and proven expertise in directing the efforts of a real estate staff In-depth knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies and objectives In-depth knowledge of project management life cycle, methodologies and support tools (eg MS Project, etc) In-depth knowledge of project management concepts, practices and techniques (Project Management certification preferred) Strong ability to promote a team environment Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and consensus building skills About Us
