Director, Technical Program Management AI/ML- (Remote- Eligible)

As a Director of Technical Program Management (TPM) on Capital One's Enterprise Data Machine Learning team you will execute on high priority enterprise level initiatives, influence across our organization and drive the implementation of our Machine Learning strategy. Specifically, you will be partnering closely with product, engineering, data scientists and other cross functional teams to create roadmaps, scope programs aligning them with business priorities, define milestones and success metrics, and build scalable, secure, reliable, efficient ML products and platforms. This role will be responsible for big picture thinking, strategic direction, presenting to executive stakeholders, and holding engineering teams accountable for overarching delivery goals.

Responsibilities:
Lead a program team focused on the building of enterprise Machine Learning capabilitiesPartner directly with product, engineering and data science functions to align and drive prioritization, and critical decisioning with internal partners and stakeholders to deliver high-impact business outcomes.Use strong technical and business acumen to proactively identify and resolve risks and dependencies that would prevent successful program executionManage program communications with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to enable transparency and timely information sharingDemonstrate a proven track record of technical program management, and scale TPM impact across the MLX organizationInstill a culture of compassion and high performance that reflects our core valuesHire, groom and grow TPM talent on teamBuild strong relationships and lead through influence with teams across the work. Serve as the connective tissue across functions, business units, bringing teams together to foster collaboration, improve decision-making, and deliver value for customers, end to end.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $242,100 - $276,300 for Director, Technical Program Management
Remote (Regardless of Location): $193,700 - $221,000 for Director, Technical Program Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
