Key Responsibilities
lead the AMC product line teams including application engineers, product specialist and product managers, reporting directly to PBU product line HQ
Provides leadership and direction through managers for professional staff that identifies gaps to plans across the field, drives field/technical and customer engagement from a BU perspective and conducts calls with field Technical Directors.
Develops and articulates winning strategies and corrective actions to meet business objectives for a segment / functional area.
Leading and drives teams across customers/segments/accounts/BU, driving successful and effective execution of customers product engagements and GTM. Translates customers’ requirements into clear and tangible work plan and Identifies gaps to plan across field & drive corrective actions
Manage customers experience for defined product, establishing trust & partnership with customers by leading all product projects and efforts for the defined customer. Maximizing product adoption, utilization & capabilities by defining & leading the implementation & execution of the product capabilities at the customer site
Proficient in customer’s technology and needs, converting technical trends into actionable information for BU, Identify customer high value problems & potential opportunities. Coordinate tech workshops/TRMs with BU and customers. Track competition and understand the competitors’ technological alternatives
Provides high-level technical interface between Field and BU responsible for customer technical engagement & execution with strong understanding of global, technical and market trends. Understand how to map trends, opportunities and threats to roadmap and strategies.
Directs and controls the conversion of technical trends into useful information for BUs, coordination of (TRM) Technical Review workshops and product positioning/ inflections mapping for a segment/functional area.
Executes alignment plans and tracks business focus on TAM, share, margin between BU and Field
Has expert understanding of global, technical and market trends and executes a systematic process for capturing competitive intelligence
Applies expert industry knowledge and commercial awareness to drive penetration / adoption of diverse and complex product strategies with BU, RPM and Field. Identifies customer adoption barriers and drives a plan to overcome [e.g. customer, product, BU]
Executes the mapping trends, opportunities and threats to roadmap and strategies
Extensive contact with the field is required. Requires 40-50% travel
