As the Director, Talent Acquisition (Americas), you will report to the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition and partner closely with the Director, TA Operations and other cross-functional Klaviyo leaders to understand, anticipate and drive recruiting and talent related strategies within Sales, Customer Success, GTM Ops and G&A. You will be empowered to think creatively about how to recruit and pilot innovative processes designed to attract and close top talent while leading multiple teams of talented recruiters.
How you'll make a difference:
Lead and motivate a team of TA professionals by installing clear and meaningful productivity metrics, goals, and efficiencies that drive individual/team performance and overall professional excellence Leverage deep expertise in Sales, Customer Success, GTM Ops, and G&A to inform and enhance talent acquisition strategies, ensuring alignment with Klaviyo's specific business needs and goals in these areas Establish yourself as trusted partner with key stakeholders throughout the organization including senior executives to thoroughly understand talent needs, and successfully deliver against the organization's vision and long-term strategy Ensuring a top notch candidate and business partner experience, developing processes for streamlining interviewing, communication and feedback while maintaining high quality Design and implement progressive sourcing strategies for domestic, partner closely with the EMEA/APAC TA Director on a global approach to strategies for other markets Take a data-driven approach in all areas of our recruiting and EDI efforts Partner with internal teams to identify and address barriers to EDI in the recruitment process, and take a data-driven approach to report on the effectiveness of these initiatives Challenge the status quo by continually improving and optimizing our internal processes and best practices as it relates to recruiting Establish healthy 2-way feedback loops between the talent team, internal leadership, and Klaviyo candidates Create and implement training programs for recruiters on best practices, new technologies, and innovative recruiting techniques, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the talent acquisition team Set the standard for providing a remarkable experience for all Klaviyo candidates Cultivate a culture of adaptability and innovation within the talent acquisition team Maximize all tools utilized by the talent team to improve effectiveness and overall experience
Who you are:
10+ years leading Talent Acquisition strategies and functions at various levels in a corporate environment 5+ years direct people management experience; preferably leading a dynamic Recruiting Team in a high-growth and agile organization Excellent communicator - strong written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to communicate effectively with key decision makers across the business, candidates across all levels Ability to see big picture and operate at scale Maniacally focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement Problem-solving and team-building skills are required Data driven approach to analyzing problems and designing solutions Intellectually curious with a customer first mindset Experience working with Greenhouse ATS is preferred but not required
The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. $184,000-$276,000 USD
