Director, Specialty Compliance And Ethics - Emerging Tech Governance / Digital Values

The Director-Digital Values will help shape Walmart's ethical use of data and responsible use of technology as we work at transforming ourselves and the retail experience for our customers and associates. We are looking for a bright and ambitious candidate to join the Walmart Digital Values Team.
The Director-Digital Values is a critical role that works with key stakeholders to develop and execute against a governance program for Emerging Technology Governance and Digital Values. This role will be a critical part of facilitating our business with digital transformation initiatives. You will help shape the company's policies and procedures regarding the responsible use of emerging technology. Reporting to the Senior Director of Emerging Technology Governance / Digital Values, you'll work to aid in resolving challenges and questions with respect to policy applicability.
What you'll do....
Create and champion Emerging Technology Governance - Work with our business, legal and other partners to understand needs, priorities, and regulations, in developing policies and controls related to ethical data use and operationalizing them
Lead Initiatives - Take ownership in multiple team objectives and implementing a plan of action, including in monitoring policy compliance and effectiveness
Leverage Tools - Research best practices, models, and frameworks to efficiently manage workflow and manage policy compliance
Build strategic relationships: Maximize relationships with business partners to understand their business and create programming, awareness and education customized to their business areas
Operate with excellence - Set an example in managing to KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, managing projects, and establishing yourself as a subject matter expert on good governance in emerging technology
What you'll bring....
Stimulated and motivated by challenges and are ready to engage at a Fortune 1 scale
Experience in compliance, business, law, or technology
Experience or a demonstrated interest in biometrics, artificial intelligence, emerging technology and data ethics
Eye for detail and excel at simplification and execution of complex ideas
Comfortable communicating with senior and executive leadership
Organized and disciplined managing teams and multiple projects
Master at making complex subjects easily understood through text and visuals
Ability to "get things done" and have a "can do" attitude

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 5 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 7 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 3 years' supervisory experience. 4 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
