About Director, Special Projects (DaVita IKC)

  CO Salary Range: USD 100,100.00 - 147,000.00 per year

  The IKC Director, Special Projects will report directly to the Group Vice President, Integrated Kidney Care. This teammate will support the development of the business strategy, aggregating and synthesizing analysis, partnering with various functions across the enterprise to drive strategic planning, organizing management processes, business communications internally and externally, and supporting employee engagement. This teammate will operate on a national level, working with central business functions and operating teams across the country.

  Location: Denver based, hybrid role (Tues, Wed & Thurs in office)

  Successful candidates will demonstrate a track record of top performance and desire to help improve our overall healthcare system.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support the GVP, Integrated Kidney Care in crafting and executing on strategic imperativesOrganize Government IKC efforts and drive collaboration across lanesSupport internal/external communication by helping to craft and deliver key messagesHighlight management process gaps or improvement opportunities, then implement solutionsLead critical projects working across multiple service lanes; monitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentations for senior leadershipCollaborate across teams to perform analyses and synthesize resultsLead the development and improvement of a top performing teamWork across operational and innovation teams to advance best-in-class capabilities in the marketStrategy & Project Execution:Manages and drives strategic and operational initiatives in collaboration with other teamsAble to structure ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and drive executionDevelops and communicates project scope, timeline, plan, resource requirements, and assumptionsCreates, implements, and drives adoption of processes and solutions to further clinical and business outcomesCommunicates project status updates and needs to senior leadership; prepares, reports, an manages against targets/goals including scope, schedule, metrics, and revenueTravel required: up to 25%This role is based in DenverEducation & Experience Requirements:Prior experience in Strategy, Consulting with Project Management or a similar role supporting enterprise-level initiatives within healthcare or financial operations leadership.Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or graduate degree preferredAt least 7 years of experience in a strategic or operational leadership roleA minimum of 2 years of project management experienceAdvanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint requiredPrior experience in healthcare services and/or working with payors, physician networks, value-based care models, and/or integrated care models preferredAdditional Success Factors:Influencing others to achieve objectivesStrategic thinkingResourcefulness-the ability to find and implement effective solutions despite time or resource constraintsHandling matters proactively and expeditiously, following through on initiatives & projects to successful completionAt DaVita, we find that our best leaders are those who create an inspiring vision for the future and empowers their team to achieve success.   Salary/ Wage Range

  $100,100.00 - $147,000.00 / year

  Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
