DaVita seeks an ambitious, experienced Director of Special Projects to leadour technology strategy for the Talent Acquisition team. This remote-basedDirectorwill be responsible for delivering innovative, integrated, andscalable technology, as well as documented recruiting processes with ananalytical mindset for developing and delivering reporting that enhances theability to hire top talent, while creating the best user experiencepossible. Thischange agentwill support the TA team in streamlining TAoperations, development of and reporting on talent acquisition metrics andimplementing new technology solutions. This leader will report into the VP,Talent Acquisition. In this role you will be a strategic leader that issolution-driven and results-oriented, and will work collaboratively acrossthe enterprise to evaluate TA vendor solutions, design, build, andimplement technology solutions, and manage and enhance deployed applications.
As the Director of Special Projects, you will be accountable for deliveringon the following:Lead all tech initiatives and support across the TA tech stack including butnot limited to creation and updates for workflows, system fields,implementation and integrations, user groups / access, new users, userdashboards, reporting, user training, system and processdocumentation, and morLeverage data insights for talent acquisition strategy (inclusive of ourtechnology and processes) with a continuous improvement mindset,proactively identify improvement opportunities and lead the execution.Generate and implement innovative solutions and an understanding of how totake programs from ideation to executionAbility to parse out technology challenges vs. process challenges, andefficiently come up with successful solutionsReact to shifting priorities to meet business needs and advise on bestpractices related to optimizing TA functionality and effectiveness
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategy / Problem SolvingDesign, implement and administer operating strategies - with an ability toallocate resources and time in a manner commensurate with expected valueResearch, analyze, review, document, communicate and rationalizecapabilities and value of IT in alignment with IT strategy and manageexpectation for IT demand and services to meet business needsIn collaboration with CenIT and the business, ensure governance andcompliance with legislation, DaVita policies and procedures, and overallIT strategy in the execution of project portfolios and capability roadmaprealization, and measure quality and business value of IT investments toensure customer satisfactionEnsure an answer-first and teammate centered approach
Project managementMonitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentationsfor senior managementRegularly apprise the Talent Acquisition leadership team on project status andvariations from schedule or scopeScope, plan and execute multiple, often quick-turnaround projects withminimal assistanceAdvocate and lead business process focus by ensuring IT is integrated in theday-to-day working and decision-making of the business utilizing various toolssuch as mapping, modeling, workflow analysis, gap analysis, use casesand blueprinting

QualificationsBA required; MBA or advanced degree (MHA, MPH, MD, PhD) highly preferredMinimum 4-6 years related IT and/or consulting work experience managingcomplex IT projects in medium to large size matrix corporate environmentspreferredStrong experience working with a variety of talent acquisition technologies(ATS, HRIS, CRM, sourcing tools, etc.)Ability to identify and analyze data to develop strategic recruiting solutionsStrong project management skills, can objectively collect/assessrequirements and scope of workStrong analytical skills and ability to understand data trends and makerecommendations based on data analysisStrong attention to detail and a passion for building consistent and scalableprocessesRelevant experience in frontline healthcare operations leadership,particularly in dialysis, a plus but not requiredAbility to build partnerships, manage stakeholders, and workcollaboratively with cross-functional partners
