This teammate will be responsible for supporting the development of the business strategy, aggregating and synthesizing regulatory/external industry analysis, partnering with various functions across the business to drive strategic planning, management process, business communications, and teammate engagement. This teammate is a disruptive thinker who is in touch with trends in the internal and external marketplace, comfortable researching and presenting internal and external data to help senior leaders make decisions, skilled at facilitating leadership teams on strategic alignment, and effective at communicating operating strategy to the broader organization.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentations for senior managementRegularly apprise the GVP of key performance indicator and project status, and variations from schedule or scopeScope, plan and execute multiple, often quick-turnaround projects with minimal assistancePresent ideas for special projects that might facilitate the leadership's objectivesPartner with appropriate stakeholders, including outside parties, to undertake analysisDevelop communications for the GVP for both internal and external audiencesIdentify and analyze issues and opportunities that could impact the leadership team's objectives, facilitate solution to any issues that ariseEngage relevant parties in issue resolutionPrepare board of director presentationsEstablish management process for GVP's portfolio to ensure delivery upon key objectivesDevelop strategy and vision for teams in portfolio, with focus on ensuring coordination and collaboration across lanesManage finances and G&A budget across portfolio, partnering with leaders for each lanePerform analytics on business performance and identify opportunities for improvementTravel required: up to 20%Qualifications:Experience as a Director of Strategy, Project Leader, or similar role supporting senior leadership and enterprise-level initiativesBachelor's degree required; Master's highly preferredDemonstrated track record in the following:Strategic thinkingInfluencing others to achieve objectivesResourcefulness-the ability to find and implement effective solutions despite time or resource constraintsAttention to detail (follow up and follow through are a MUST in this role)Research and milestone planning skillsIntegrity; trustworthy and able to keep matters and documents/info confidentialHandling matters proactively and expeditiously; successful initiatives & project completionAbility to effectively work independently as well as to collaborate as part of a teamExcellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skillsJudgment and decision-making ability--must know when and how to "push-back" on decisions and how to make tough calls to keep work moving forwardPoise, tact and diplomacy under pressureFlexibility & openness to frequent schedule/calendar changes and emerging prioritiesSelf-motivated and accountable for meeting commitments and deadlines"Can-do" & results-focused mentality-willing to do what it takes to get the job doneJoin us as we pursue our vision "To Build the Greatest Healthcare Community the World has Ever Seen."Why wait?
