Role Description
Join us and play a critical road in shaping the future of Aladdin risk management. Our Risk & Controls team works closely with senior leaders, subject matter experts and risk stakeholders to create transparency into risk exposure and define and prioritize risk mitigating solutions. You will be the primary driver of strategy and implementation of a structured risk identification program enabled by automated metrics, dashboards and reporting. You will drive a culture of risk self-identification and use metrics and data to frame complex risk themes to drive critical risk decisions and priorities.
Key responsibilities:
Lead Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) program for Aladdin EngineeringLead execution of Aladdin Engineering RCSA cycles driving the work of risk delegates embedded in each AE business linePartner with second line of defense on further redesign of the risk and control taxonomy and its implementation across Aladdin EngineeringEstablish risk adjusted control assurance program using control performance metrics as a primary basis for assuranceEstablish strategy to align known control weaknesses such as IA findings, RCI's, incidents, operating event, critical vulnerabilities with RCSA assessment entities, risks and controlsRepresent Aladdin Engineering in proposing advancements to the firm's RCSA platform and standardsEstablish RCSA reporting to drive structured program of risk transparency and prioritize risk mitigationDevelop ExCo member business line reporting to articulate business line risk issues and lead prioritization in support of pre-audit risk mitigationIdentify horizontal risk and control themes to drive candidate first line identified Risk and Control Issues (RCI's)Establish risk domain specific horizontal risk and control performance reporting to shape risk domain servicesEstablish risk and control metrics program.Partner with Risk Domain Owners to define and produce domain specific risk metrics and thresholdsEstablish and produce Enterprise Risk Indicators (ERI) for firmwide governance reportingAutomate regulatory metrics.Develop risk metrics dashboards and integrate metrics into management and governance reportingManage the Aladdin Engineering Risk Estate.Establish and produce management-level automated risk estate reporting and dashboards.Monitor and enforce timely completion of risk obligations such as IA findings and risk and control issues (RCIs).Manage inclusion of risk obligations in the Aladdin Roadmap.
Desired Qualifications:
Executive Presence and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage diverse set of stakeholders, build long-term relationships to influence outcomes and drive effective results across a multitude of senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Intellectual Curiosity: Strong grasp of content, business models, interest in Technology, markets, and geopolitical trends; ability to synthesize large amounts of information, form and test hypotheses and identify opportunities.
Problem-solving: Structured critical thinker with superior problem-solving abilities who can organize people under pressure and pull in key decision-makers to prioritize issues and respond to clients and senior management
Technology Operational Risk Expertise: Subject matter expert in technology operational risk, with deep understanding of policy, control and metrics expectations related to system availability, security and integrity for a regulated financial entity or critical service provider for financial entities.
Operational Risk Framework and Assessment Expertise: Subject matter expert in operational risk frameworks, with a particular focus on RCSA, metrics, and risk appetite.
Technical Expertise in PowerBI and Smartsheets: Experience supervising the development of automated metrics and dashboards in PowerBI or similar platforms and using Smartsheets for issue tracking and reporting.
Demonstrates integrity and the highest standards, with a commitment to inclusion and diversity
8+ years of experience in asset management, financial services or technology in a technology operational risk-related role
CISA or CRISC certification preferred.
