Director, Project Management - Talent Optimization
Join the Card Tech Management & Operations Team as part of the Chief of Staff Team for Card Technology (CT). It's an exciting time to be in Technology, especially in Card Tech, as we transform the way we do business and deliver effortless digital experiences to our customers.
The Chief of Staff office drives horizontal key initiatives that support 4500 associates across multiple geographies and multiple business domains. This Director, Project Management position will be a critical part of the Card Tech Chief of Staff team defining talent alignment strategy and optimization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and define new labor optimization strategies that help to identify efficiencies which may be leveraged across the Card Technology organization. Inclusive of permanent and temporary labor solutions.
Create and drive the execution of a long term geography strategy that encourages collaboration across both Technology and Product.
Build repositories and educational materials to help the organization better understand the workforce and how/where to leverage capacity accordingly.
Help the organization grow within a new labor market by leading efforts related to change management, defining new labor market standards and setting expectations on how to navigate.
Conduct risk assessments to determine temporary labor dependencies and create an ongoing process to provide transparency around this subject.
Build close and collaborative partnerships with Card Product, multiple HR partners including HR Consultants (HRC), Recruiting, Enterprise D&I Team, Tech Events, Tech Selection, Tech College, CapitalOne University (COU), etc.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
At least 7 years of experience in Project or Process Management
At least 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree
9+ years of experience in Project or Process Management
5+ years of data analysis experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $202,400 - $231,000 for Director, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
