About the role
The Director of Program Management plays a meaningful role leading a team of highly skilled program managers that drive the execution of large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and new product launches within our Customer Success organization. The Director works with stakeholders to drive program prioritization and resource alignment to the most impactful programs. They partner closely with executives, strategy leaders, technology partners and many more to drive critical programs and activities across the company. The Director of Program Management understands and influences the business strategy, and helps connect the dots across the Customer Success organization and program management team to drive program execution efficiency. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, exceptional project management expertise, and a deep understanding of the technology landscape.
Responsibilities:
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing program management teamFoster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth and developmentActs as a business partner with Senior leadership across Customer Success to drive program prioritization decisions, mitigate risks and escalate issues as necessary.Understands and influences the overarching business strategy; acts as a bridge between different departments to ensure effective communication and alignmentOptimize resource allocation to ensure efficient utilization of personnel, technology, and financial resourcesInfluences and drives operational excellence efficiencies within PMO group and rolls out, as necessary, across the Customer Success organizationImplement best practices in program management to enhance overall project efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills & Requirements
Proven experience (15+ years) in program management within the technology industry, with a focus on delivering complex projects within highly matrixed environmentPrior direct people management experience required leading, coaching and guiding both junior and seasoned team membersStrong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levelsIn-depth understanding of project management methodologies and tools.Proven experience working with global teams across multiple cultures, time zones, departments and functionsDemonstrate strong problem solving skills, process-driven mindset, and resourcefulnessAnalytical thinker that is willing to make decisions cross functionally in a fast paced, dynamic environmentAbility to lead a team within a fast-paced dynamic organization. Flexibility in shifting direction quickly when priorities change; excellent multi-tasking skillsIdeal: Scrum master certification (CSM), PMI or PrMI certification

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $166,200 to $241,100.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $166,200 to $262,900.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
