Job Description Visa Direct is a payment service that allows clients like sending and receiving financial institutions, processors, merchants, and service providers to facilitate money movement between Cards, Bank Accounts and Wallets around the world using faster payments technology. Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person to person transfers, Business to Consumer e.g. gig economy payouts, Business to Small Business, and more. The money movement market is estimated to be more than 65 Trillion Dollar of payment volume globally.
Visa Direct North America Product & Growth team plays a critical role in growing the Visa Direct business through expanding the Visa Direct use cases and deploying scalable solutions. The team is responsible for go to market strategy and commercialization of Visa Direct across existing and new use cases and verticals.
We are seeking a product leader that is ready to apply their deep payments expertise to develop strategies and solutions that accelerate growth for Visa Direct money movement use cases in the Domestic Disbursements segment including Gig Economy, Earned Wage Access, Gaming, Government, Marketplaces, Content Creators, etc.
You will lead product commercialization and go to market strategy that includes market research, analyzing competitors, building value prop, developing pricing, prospecting pilot clients, signing deals, and launching programs. You will drive these activities by collaborating across Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Legal teams, as well as external technology companies and financial institutions. This role will be expected to develop both short and long term commercialization strategies, while influencing senior leadership across the company to implement and execute.
This is a client facing and broad reaching cross functional role so organizational savvy, interpersonal and negotiation skills are critical as he or she will interface with all areas of Visa including sales, marketing, pricing, legal, regulatory, and with executives and founding teams from some of our largest clients. Visa is looking for an individual that is a thought leader in strategy and business growth with a proven track record of success in fast paced environments with demanding timelines.
Responsibilities
Lead NA Visa Direct product and commercialization strategies to accelerate growth in the Domestic Disbursements segment including Gig Economy, Earned Wage Access, Gaming, Government, Marketplaces, Content Creators, and more.Analyze different use cases in the domestic disbursements segment including market dynamics and competitors to understand existing solutions, gaps, and market needs.Develop strategy that includes identifying partners, assessing product capabilities, policy enhancements, signing deals, launching pilots, monitoring performance, and optimizing for growth.The individual will be required to work with functional leaders across a variety of functions: pricing, rules, sales, marketing, legal, and other product teams and business units to influence and shape to inform functional partner prioritization and work efforts including but not limited to rule and policy changes, pricing changes, and integrated product solutions.Have deep functional knowledge and expertise in Visa’s assets and capabilities, new payment technologies and networks, and ecosystem partners to develop solutions for clients in the vertical.Build and deploy go to market plans to drive scale and revenue, partnering with Visa’s internal teams such as Product, Marketing, Sales, Pricing and Finance, Legal, Risk and Compliance and Operations to manage market deployments.Work with Marketing, Innovation and Comms teams to produce use case playbooks, including optimized messaging and positioning, sales materials, and tools, UX best practices, and solution guides with targeted marketing and comms plans increase awareness, adoption and preference for Visa Direct across target segments. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
• Proven track record of successfully developing and commercializing new businesses.
• At least five years in payments, B2B B2C G2C payments experience a plus, but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on clients. Demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
• Ability to independently lead and manage projects with multiple work streams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems.
• Ability to structure and manage complex cross enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to management and external business partners.
• Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results.
• Passionate about what you do and fired up about the opportunity to transform payments working for the industry leader.
• Ability to inspire and influence without direct management responsibility.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 176,900.00 to 230,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
