The next three years will bring focused attention to building the right long-term platform, including system enhancement and consolidation, comprehensive workflow redesign, and a singular data strategy.We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Product Management - Position Servicing (Loans) to join our team. This role will be located in Pittsburgh or New York or Houston or Charlotte or Lake Mary. We may consider other locations in the USA for the right candidate.The primary responsibilities of the role are as follows:Collaborates with the Platform Leaders to translate the overall vision to a vision for the pods within the Platform and is accountable for ensuring ongoing delivery of value; maintains a prioritized product roadmap/backlog, continuously assesses feedback and collaborates with stakeholders.Responsible for leading and providing strategic direction on product management, development and marketing processes for multiple highly complex global products that are high impact and high profile.Develop, lead, and execute the strategic vision for Product or Platform; own the overall Product / Platform roadmap, and align teams around delivery goalsProvide leadership support to multiple pod-level Product Owners and ensure alignment across multiple pod-level product backlogsProvide strategic input & decisioning, manage & reduce blockers, & ensure continuous flow or work, helping pod owners refine & reprioritize pod backlogs.Provide day-to-day direction to guide Product / Platform operations and evaluate the impact of the Product against established scorecardManage issue escalations and risks; track financialsLiaises with and/or manages cross-functional teams to deliver products that address client needs.Responsible for providing strategic direction to enterprise teams working on cross-platform deliveries.Accountable for all risks originated from services delivered (including remediation efforts) & owns, manages and aggregates view of risk across P / PUses complete and detailed understanding of the product set to drive design or development considerations and validate that support model for post-rollout is in place.Responsible for managing product direction, strategy and overall related project execution plans.May serve as Team Lead, leading other product manager(s) within a product area, to define and deliver solutions and manage their day-to-day work.Contributes to the achievement of Product Management objectives.Fosters agile ways of working, DevOps, and automated testing.Qualifications:Experience in the securities or financial services industry required; Loan-life-cycle expertise, focused on the servicing and monitoring of loans, is a plus.Engageme t with loan lenders on the day-to-day management of loan portfolios.Knowledge of funding or trade process.Experience with loan-level money movement, reconciliation, and reporting.Success standing up new teams, fostering growth and development, agile ways of working, and team collaboration.Effective coach and collaboration skills. Ability to influence, make hard decisions, and problem solve.Passion for changing the status quo and driving out of the box thinking. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,000 and $260,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
