  Enterprise Data Sharing Solutions (EDSS) is part of the Enterprise Data Governance, Digital & Data Platforms (EDGP) organization, which sits within Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS). Through the implementation of modern data sharing capabilities and strategies, the EDSS organization aims to provide efficient, safe and purposeful data sharing for our customers and enterprise partners alike. Catalyzed by these goals, as well as the rapidly changing landscape of global data regulations, such as Open Banking and privacy, EDSS is embarking on an exciting and transformational journey to both establish and modernize core digital and data-centric privacy and sharing capabilities at American Express.

  Digital Tracking Platform and processes, driving growth, efficiency, and compliance.

  The Director or Product Management, Digital Tracking Platform will lead a team that defines the long-term product strategy for the Digital Tagging & Tracking Platform, which is the central enterprise solution for digital tracking across all Amex customer experiences. This role will be responsible for driving key in-year regulatory and marketing initiatives, while also focusing on the 2–3-year modernization and transformation of our core enterprise tracking tools and processes. The Director, Digital Tracking, will partner with engineering leaders to deliver across these near- and long-term roadmaps, while partnering closely with marketing teams, enterprise experience owners, and users of digital data to power a transformed journey for Digital Tracking at American Express.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Build and lead a team of product owners to deliver critical in-year regulatory and business growth initiatives within the Digital Tracking Platform.

  Partner with business leaders, experience owners, and engineering partners to deliver critical remediation activities related to Global Privacy regulations.

  Partner with the broader EDSS organization to enable an improved stakeholder engagement model for the Digital Tracking Platform across all users.

  Support governance partners and program teams in the on-time resolution of compliance and audit issues, as well as delivery of critical PRSA requirements.

  Align with business unit partners, Centers of Excellence and governance teams to discover and design applicable procedures for the Digital Tracking ecosystem.

  Support program team in communicating progress of critical initiatives to key stakeholders from growth-focused marketing partners to 2nd and 3rd line partners with a focus on regulatory compliance.

  Develop, improve, or transform existing processes to support product(s) development with an aim toward efficiency, growth, and operational excellence.

  Qualifications Requirements:

  8 years of demonstrated excellence in leading product owner teams delivering technology-driven business solutions across the enterprise.

  Highly organized and self-motivated individual who can combine problem-resolution, insights-driven prioritization, and ability to influence to achieve critical business goals.

  Confidence in decision-making in complex & ambiguous situations; comfortable troubleshooting and aligning conflicting interests.

  Ability to communicate complex technical solutions & processes to a wide variety of audiences.

  Ability to synthesize customer feedback, industry trends, regulatory requirements, and future-focused business needs into a well-prioritized, executable product roadmap.

  Knowledge of the global privacy landscape strongly preferred.

  Ability to discover and design scalable solutions and processes, and lead implementation of those processes across a matrixed environment.

  Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, engineering, master’s degree preferred.

  Qualifications

  Salary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
