Our Opportunity:
Chewy is currently seeking a Director of Product to lead our Customer Identity and Account Management team based in Bellevue, WA. In this role you will oversee the end-to-end experience for a portfolio of products that deliver a secure, convenient, and intuitive authentication, security, and identity management experience for pet parents. You’ll also be responsible for inventing and delivering new products that deepen our relationship with pet parents as we fulfill our mission to be the most trusted and convenient destination for pet parents (and partners) everywhere.
To be successful in this role, you will need to balance fast near-term results with building better products for the long-term vision. We are looking for someone who wants to transform Chewy with big swings, ready to fail fast and innovate while continually keeping the end user in focus. You will be involved in high-impact decisions and initiatives undertaken by the company, giving you a front row seat to shape Chewy’s growth. Equally as important, you will need to operate at depth, understanding every detail of the organization’s product goals, as well as being able to “zoom out” to connect the dots across products and technology. We are seeking an inspiring people leader, a strong cross-functional collaborator, an outstanding communicator, and a nimble, strategic thinker. Finally, you will have demonstrated flexibility and willingness to roll up your sleeves to lead your team through ever changing priorities and interesting challenges. A start-up mentality is a must.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with C-Suite and VP leaders. Apply vision, strategy, and thought leadership to impact Chewy, at scale. Identify and manage priorities within the context of overall Chewy objectives. Lead and mentor a team of experienced Product Managers and Program Managers. Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, finance, legal to develop a compelling vision and deliver best-in-class experiences for pet parents. What You’ll Need:
10+ years of product management experience Demonstrated ability to launch and rapidly scale new business ventures Strong business acumen and the willingness to move fast Excellent strategic and analytical skills Proven operator with focus on executing in excellence Superior sense of ownership paired with a high-quality bar and an unshakable growth mindset Strong leadership skills and experience developing and managing a high-performance team Superb communication skills combined with the ability to influence cross-functional partners Must have a Bachelor’s Degree Position may require travel Bonus:
