In this role, you'll be responsible for directing and overseeing thecontinuous improvement transformation effort across designated areas. You'llpartner directly with the VP, Operational Excellence, and organizationalleaders to develop and implement strategy deployment objectives,cross-functional improvement, people development, and a Lean managementsystem.
Key responsibilities include:
Works with Senior Leadership to develop strategy for operational improvementand project management.Leads large, complex transformation efforts and enterprise-wide processimprovement initiatives.Develops Operational Excellence training curriculum and providesclassroom, virtual and on the job education to leaders and teammates.Manages financial readiness and understands business implications ofLean-related work, including ability to conduct P&L diagnostics andprovide leadership recommendations for cost savings.Serves first as a doer, then transitions to coaching where appropriate forongoing operational excellence improvement activities.Willing to obtain certification in the Prologis Change Managementmethodology and be capable of playing both an Operational Excellence andChange Management role on assigned initiatives.Oversees and/or develops project plans, project budgets and timelines incollaboration with the Enterprise Project Management Office.Communicates operational activities, status updates and return oninvestment to senior leadership via a variety of channels.Collaborates with corporate analytics teams to build business intelligencereporting aligned with strategic objectives, including design ofaction-oriented visual management.Facilitates improvement events/activities, and oversees related planningand follow-up work (i.e., VSMs, Kaizen events, Pilots/Experiments,SW, data analytics, overall system thinking).Guides development, training, and auditing of Standard Work.Ensures Standard Work is in alignment with organizational policies.Meets regularly with the operational project sponsors to discuss projectplans and execution of improvement projects.Provides appropriate documentation in a timely manner to the operationalproject sponsors and continuous improvement leaders.Escalates teammate issues or concerns (i.e., hot spots) particular toimprovement work.Works independently with limited direction to drive improvement work.Demonstrates a high level of initiative with self-starter mindset.Exhibits a "can-do" attitude and takes responsibility to create change.Advocates for continuous improvements and streamlining of processes.Building blocks for success
Required:
7+ years utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvement.5+ years in facilitating Lean Transformation. Lean Transformationexperience includes leading and managing large scale, complex projectsacross multiple functions, including engagement of all levels of teammatesand leadership.5+ years' experience in applying Lean methods, tools, strategies andphilosophies, including significant experience in Hoshin anri StrategyDeployment, VSMs and Rapid Kaizen events), A3 thinking, Managing forDaily Improvement/Management Systems, 5S, Visual Management and Standard Work.Demonstrated competency in strategy deployment and stakeholder management.Experience with executive-level stakeholders.Proven track record of achieving breakthrough results through implementationof large-scale projects and value-added change.Experience with Tableau, Sigma, Salesforce, Lucid, and Monday.com.Strong communication (oral and written) and ability to build strongrelationships.Strong capability in data analytics, and ability to utilize data forproblem solving and root cause analysis.High level of comfort with ambiguity, strong level of initiative withself-starter mindset, ability to think strategically and innovatively.Highly innovative, especially related to AI/Machine Learningapplications in alignment with Operational Excellence efforts.Preferred:
Bachelor's degree desired, Master's degree a plus.
Experience in transactional environments is a plus.Experience with ChatGPT is a plus.Hiring Salary Range of $137,000.00 to $170,000.00. Salary and wholecompensation package to be determined by the candidate's location,
