About Director, Oncology Regional Training

  Job Description

  The US Oncology business is a growing and dynamic part of our company. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Director, US Oncology Regional Training. The role will lead a team of Oncology Regional Trainers (ORTs) to ensure strong clinical acumen throughout the sales organization. The Director reports into the U.S. Oncology Commercial Operations Strategy Leader and collaborates with Sales Leaders, Oncology Learning Consultants, Oncology Learning Partners and Marketers to deliver national and regional learning solutions that drive business outcomes. Effective partnership with a counterpart Director of US Oncology Regional Training, and Regional Sales Leaders (DCOs) will be a critical factor for sustained success. This is a headquarter role.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Team Leadership - Define the vision for ORT business impact, and the strategy for partnership between ORT and key stakeholders. Meaningfully integrate D&I spirit into team. Responsible for ongoing motivation, assessment, and improvement of ORT team.Training Execution Leadership - Ensure alignment and consistency across ORT roles and strong connection to L&D. Ensure consistent execution of training programs to meet ongoing and launch needs. Continuously evaluate technologies and capabilities to ensure best fit for learning/training and customer engagement.Business Partnership - As part of the Commercial Oncology Leadership Team (COLT), partner with Marketing, L&D, and Sales Leaders (key focus on DCOs) to ensure strong understanding of training needs unique to each Region. Advises sales leaders on the implications of strategies on learning and development.Focus on Results - Demonstrate the ability to define and achieve success in a fast-paced, dynamic, minimally structured environment. Effective management through change, and strong prioritization skills will be critical to success.Portfolio Responsibility - This Director will be responsible for a portion of the Oncology portfolio, aligned to specific sales teams/leaders. Tumor responsibilities will include Breast, Ovarian, Prostate, RCC, VHL and NMIBC

  Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  BA/BSA minimum of 5 years combined sales, sales training, strategic marketing, or brand management experience in any industry, is requiredDemonstrated ability to lead projects, work teams, or individualsDemonstrated ability influencing others, navigating complex or matrix organizations and working successfully with cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to create solutions that drive value for our customers, incorporating innovative approaches where relevantStrong written/verbal communication skills as demonstrated through experience in strategy & marketing business case communication, sales interface, direct customer engagement and/or sales presentations

  Preferred Experience and Skills:

  Demonstrated track record of team leadership, talent development and commitment to DE&IExperience identifying learning needs, and applying industry standards/policies, adult learning principles, and creative thinking to address identified needsOncology headquarter and/or field training experience

  U.S. Hybrid Work Model

  Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Please note, this Hybrid work model guidance also does not apply to roles that have been designated as "remote".

  Under New York State, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.

  Expected salary range:

  $175,440.00 - $276,200.00
