As a Director of Sales at Sinclair, you will be responsible for finalizing sales deals, negotiating terms, and securing new business with clients in the Financial Services category. Your exceptional sales skills, persuasive abilities, and strong closing techniques will play a critical role in converting leads into customers and driving revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, overcome objections, and ensure a seamless transition from prospect to satisfied, long-term customer.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Closing: Take ownership of the sales process and effectively close deals to meet or exceed established sales targets.
2. Lead Conversion: Follow up on leads generated by the call setters and other sources, engaging with potential customers to understand their needs and present our products/services as the ideal solution.
3. Negotiation: Conduct negotiations with prospects, addressing objections, overcoming obstacles, and persuasively presenting the value proposition to secure successful sales outcomes.
4. Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our digital and broadcast products/services, industry trends, and competitor offerings to articulate unique selling points and advantages.
5. Sales Strategy: Work closely with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies, sharing insights and feedback to improve overall performance.
6. Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and prioritize leads and opportunities within the assigned region, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate sales forecasting.
7. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and provide a seamless customer experience.
9. Sales Reporting: Generate accurate and timely sales reports, tracking key performance metrics, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts for management review.
10. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on sales techniques, industry best practices, and market trends, continuously improving sales skills and knowledge.
11. Deep familiarity and past experience in the Finance marketing vertical.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
2. Experience: Proven track record of success in B2B sales or a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in the Finance Services vertical.
3. Sales Skills: Exceptional persuasion and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close complex sales deals and overcome objections.
4. Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

The base salary compensation range for this role is up to $140,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
